Todd Stewart resides in Stone County, Mississippi, with his wife, April Stewart. He is the proud father of four; Marcus, Rachael, Victoria, and Johnathan and a grandfather of six, Addyson, Aubrey, Vivien, Haven, Ava, and Addalyne. Todd is an active and serving member of Northwood Church.
Todd Stewart is a retired Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force, who served 20 years. His service included 14 years as Air Force Security Police, where he worked in various positions to include Flight Chief at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait and Patrick Air Force Base, Fl. He has been stationed at multiple bases throughout the U.S. and overseas during his career. He was in the Air Force Paralegal field for 6 years, where he served as a Law Office Manager of Osan Air Base, Korea and Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi.
Before retiring from the Air Force, Todd Stewart served his community by joining the Gulfport Police Department Reserves. After his military retirement, he joined the Gulfport Police Department full-time. During his 12 years with Gulfport, he worked as a Patrol Officer, DUI Officer, and was a member of the Gulfport S.W.A.T. Team, where he served as a Sniper and Crisis Negotiator. Todd was promoted to Sergeant and placed in administration where he worked as the Training & Accreditation (CALEA) Manager. He is also a certified Mississippi Law Enforcement Alliance for Peer Support (LEAPS) Counselor.
Todd worked for the Southern Regional Public Safety Institute (SRPSI), through The University of Southern Mississippi starting in 2012 as the Operations Officer and held a commission with The University of Southern Mississippi’s Police Department as Captain. He was promoted as the Director of SRPSI in January 2014 and stayed until 2016 when he went to work as the Deputy Chief of Security Forces Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC) Gulfport.
Todd accepted a position with the Biloxi Police department in 2017 where he worked on patrol, then Accreditation Manager. He was promoted to Sgt in the Professional Standards Unit and worked Internal Affairs (IA). He was recently promoted to Lieutenant and is currently a Patrol Lieutenant on shift
